  • Growth rate of 26% as compared to first week in 2023
  • Mobile, electronics & consumer durables, home and general merchandise accounted for 75% of the sales during this period
  • Tier 2 and 3 cities accounted for more than 70% of Smartphone and TV sales
  • Fashion, grocery and beauty & personal care sales also saw a jump of 2-4x and the sales will be distributed throughout the festive period
  • Smart television, air fryers, luggage, security cameras, mattress, water purifiers, laptops, air conditioners, water heaters, washing machines, ghee and dry fruits are the other categories which saw high interest from customers
  • Categories like toys, books, books, kitchen essentials saw a 2-5x jump in number of orders during the first week
  • Offers and EMI options are the top reasons for festive shopping where more than 50% buyers in TV , washing machine, laptops and refrigerators opted for EMI

The focus now shifts to Quick Commerce where low ASP categories like grocery, beauty and personal care and general merchandise have a major role to play
